mine is beauty

mine is beauty
Doubt is a double edged sword. It thankfully pries it's blunt edge in when our confidence tips overboard. It serves as a gentle reminder that there may be pieces left unchecked, unquestioned and that there is still more to be learned, fought, considered. Wisdom Doubt, however, has a not-so-blunt edge that draws the blood of the weak and bony. At one's most vulnerable, most insecure, Doubt hides behind curtains to prick the pads of fingers seeking sunlight. Freedom Doubt's greatest enemy is inspiration. When one's actions are inspired they are made of diamond, the surface of which no blade of Doubt can mar. Life I have not been inspired.
I have questioned.
I have doubted.
That which has brought me Doubt
I will make mine.
What is truly mine is a thing of beauty.

  1. Love. It.

Hands down one of my favorite books. And it’s bite-sized (though obviously the thoughts in it are not)!

Great way of presenting it, too. Really helps the meaning of the words stand out.
