warning: blognapping emo hipster on the loose!

Last seen in Seattle wearing hi-top converse, skinny jeans, and a newsy hat. All in gray.

Prone to consuming alarming amounts of coffee, sitting alone at live shows in bars without drinking, writing bad poetry in a clichéd moleskine notebook, and pretending to be a vampire.

Suggested course of action: Protect your blog! Spare your readers! For goodness sake change your password!

This demon of the night will sneak in and paint your hard earned work black, turning whimsical blog energy to sticky mudpit-like slodge!

Seriously though, what’s the point of writing a blog about not being dramatic if I don’t get to publish the times I don’t quite succeed so everyone can get a good chuckle with me?

If that didn’t work, here’s another good story:

In first grade we had to make joke cards, sort of the What Am I? type jokes. (It should be noted here that I have always been subject to forgetting random letters in words when I write).

Cover of my card:

I am pink. I am white. I have polka dots. What am I?

Inside:

I am a shit.

Cheers to never taking yourself too serious, even when you’re serious about being seriously overdramatic!

  1. This blognapper sounds pretty hot to me. Do you know if she is likely to make a strike in DC? As a heads up I’ll be backpacking until January, so don’t hold your breath for urbancrusoe.com updates this month : (
    Until next time!

  2. The most emo inducing part of the picture is the subtle inclusion of empty pint glasses. Being out of beer is definitely depressing.

I just tried to add to my ungodly amount of coffee consumption for the day by hiding out in a coffee shop. After driving over there in the rain, there were no seats available. I managed to make it back without slitting my wrists, but I probably would have had a run in with the blognapping emo hipster had I managed to fulfill my dreary night in Seattle fantasy.

Tomorrow is a new day. I hope it rains again.
